The Nava Center is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides psychotherapy and training to the community, organizations, and individuals, aiming to decrease the impact of trauma and increase engagement in antiracism efforts. We believe that everyone deserves access to quality mental health services and meaningful education to develop their best self and make the world a more equitable and safe space for all.
The Nava Center is on the rise and seeking to expand our team of trauma-informed therapists at various levels of experience. The Nava Center offers individual and group trauma therapy and provides a variety of trainings including offerings related to trauma, antiracism, and bias. We are committed to supporting therapists in achieving a work-life balance and holding group consultations as part of the team experience. We are seeking practitioners who are committed to making services accessible to everyone and we utilize a household income-based sliding scale to support our mission. All sessions are held remotely and clinicians create their own schedules.
Our clinicians will work on a fee-for-service basis and can determine the number of clients they see each week. The Nava Center sees children, adolescents, and adults. We provide services to Philadelphia and its surrounding suburbs, as well as to other states, depending on clinician licensure.
Ideal Candidates Will Have:
Experience providing trauma-informed interventions with a traumatized population
Experience providing outpatient psychotherapy
The ability to work independently and as part of a team
Active engagement in their own antiracism/equity work
Multilingual fluency is a plus.
